Economic Impact of Urquhart Castle

DC Research Ltd. has been commissioned by Historic Environment Scotland (HES) to carry out a study into the economic impact and contribution of Urquhart Castle to the local area and economy surrounding the castle. HES is seeking to establish the current economic footprint of the castle to act as a baseline to inform future opportunities which benefit the local economy. The study will include a survey of visitors to the castle, as well as a survey of local businesses to gather their perspectives on the contribution of the castle to the local economy.
