Social and Economic Impact of National Trust for Scotland

DC Research is working with Wavehill Ltd (https://www.wavehill.com/) on a project commissioned by the National Trust for Scotland (NTS) - https://www.nts.org.uk/ - which is evaluating the social and economic impact of NTS.

The work is a desk-based study that has the following overarching aims:
• Firstly, mapping the type and range of impacts that the National Trust for Scotland has through its activities, including the conservation of heritage, welcoming and working with visitors, and advocacy.
• Secondly, wherever possible, estimate the social and economic impact of these activities.

NTS is currently developing a new, 10-year strategy and, as part of that effort, wants to better understand the range of social, economic, and environmental impacts it has as an organisation, and how those can be measured. This study will directly contribute to this.
