The British Museum’s touring exhibition - Desire, love, identity

DC Research has been commissioned by the British Museum to carry out an impact evaluation of the touring exhibition – Desire, love, identity: exploring LGBTQ histories.

The evaluation involves a range of desk-based research activity as well as consulting with staff from the British Museum involved in the exhibition as well as staff from the five venues that hosted the exhibition when it toured during 2018 and 2019.

The aim of the evaluation is to assess the impact of the exhibition at each of the five venues, as well as identifying what worked well and any challenges or issues - drawing out lessons learned from these experiences that can help inform future work on similar exhibitions.
