Museums Galleries Scotland - Scottish Museums Sector: Current Situation and Future Issues

Museums Galleries Scotland (https://www.museumsgalleriesscotland.org.uk/) commissioned DC Research to carry out a research study about ‘The Scottish Museums and Galleries Sector – Current Situation and Future Issues’.

The study involved a survey of museums and galleries throughout Scotland as well as a range of one-to-one discussions with a sample of different types and sizes of venues across Scotland.

The results of the research will help inform Museums Galleries Scotland’s forward planning about how it supports and advocates for the Scottish sector, as well as supporting and informing how it fulfils its role as the National Development Body for Scotland's Museums and Galleries.
